Who can apply
You can apply if you:
- are at least 18 years old, or applying on behalf of an organization you are authorized to represent;
- have a specific project, business or purpose the funding would support;
- can provide accurate contact details and, where needed, supporting documents;
- have not already submitted an application during the current cycle.
Individuals, students, sole traders, small businesses, nonprofits, community groups, researchers, creatives and agricultural producers are all welcome. Some programs are limited to particular countries or regions; we'll only match you with programs available where you live.

Equipment, inventory, launch costs, digital tools and expansion for early-stage and small businesses.
Education & training
Tuition, certifications, vocational courses, and learning materials that lead to new skills or employment.
Community & nonprofit
Programs, events and services that benefit a neighbourhood, group or cause.
Arts & culture
Creating, producing, exhibiting or preserving creative work, from music and film to craft.
Research & innovation
Prototypes, pilot studies, and early-stage research with a clear question and method.
Health & wellbeing
Initiatives that improve physical or mental health, access to care, or healthy living.
Environment & sustainability
Conservation, clean energy, waste reduction and climate resilience projects.
Agriculture
Farm improvements, sustainable practices, equipment and local food initiatives.
Supporting documents
Documents are optional for smaller requests but strongly recommended. For requests above $25,000, at least one supporting document is required. Helpful documents include:
- a budget or cost breakdown, or supplier quotes;
- a business plan, project proposal or pitch deck;
- a CV, portfolio or evidence of past work;
- registration documents for businesses or nonprofits;
- letters of support from partners or community members.
You can attach up to three files (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC or DOCX), 4 MB in total. Please do not upload identity documents, bank statements or passwords — we'll request any verification securely if you are selected.
What grants can't be used for
- paying off personal debt, loans or credit cards;
- political campaigns or lobbying;
- activities that are illegal, discriminatory, or harmful;
- gambling, speculative investments or cryptocurrency trading;
- costs already incurred before an award is made, unless a program states otherwise.
Important to know
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding. Grants are competitive and limited by the budgets of individual programs. Award amounts may be lower than the amount requested. Successful applicants may be asked to sign a grant agreement and report on how funds were used.
